Breathe California gives clean air award to Coda Automotive
19 April, 2010
Lung disease advocacy group Breathe California gave out its Clean Air Awards in San Francisco last week and Coda Automotive was one of the honorees. 2010 was the twentieth anniversary of the awards, which promote groups that work to reduce air polution. Coda is preparing to launch a new battery electric sedan later this year. The Coda sedan is expected to have an electric driving range of about 90-120 miles from its lithium ion battery pack. Coda president and CEO Kevin Czinger was on hand to accept the award in the category of technology development. Another award winner in the transportation field was Solazyme for its work on developing algae-based biofuels.
